The two major Italian car brands are celebrating important anniversaries in 2024: FIAT is celebrating its 125th anniversary this year. The Giulietta Spider celebrates its 70th birthday and the Alfetta GT Coupé, designed by Giugiaro, turns 50. Bertone's Alfa Romeo 90 has been with us for 40 years and it's hard to believe that the Alfa 145 is becoming a classic car.
The latest car from Alfa Romeo is presented: the new Alfa Romeo Junior. Visitors will be able to test drive and get up close and personal with the latest vehicles from FIAT and Alfa Romeo.
These occasions are the focus of the "Mercato Italiano", which will bring together owners and fans of classic cars from Italy on July 14, 2024 - a Sunday - at Klassikstadt in Frankfurt. Stellantis is once again supporting the event with its Italian brands.
For guests arriving with their own classic car - non-Italian brands are of course also welcome - parking spaces are reserved on the grounds of Klassikstadt. All vehicles will be introduced to the public by a presenter as they enter. True to the subtitle "Meeting place for friends of Italian vehicles and lifestyle", the "Mercato Italiano", which is open from 10:00 to 18:00, also offers culinary delights with selected Italian dishes and drinks such as salsiccia or espresso in addition to classic and modern vehicles. And there is also a colorful program for the little ones with a miniature race track and face painting.
