Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Porsche Turbo with us on 15 June! The evolution of the Urelfer was lifted into new spheres in 1975. After the 6-cylinder boxer engine had been increased from 2 litres to 3 litres through extensive revisions, Porsche began to explore turbo technology, first in racing and later in production vehicles. Spurred on by the successes in racing in 1974, Porsche presented the first Porsche Turbo as a road car in the 1975 model year, and the 911 Turbo has been the spearhead of the 911 model series ever since, serving as a technology leader and timeless sculpture in equal measure and creating a myth that continues to fascinate to this day. The 930 Turbo will therefore take centre stage at this year's Porsche Treffen. We are looking forward to the full range of the Porsche 911 Turbo range. Early examples in particular will receive special recognition. We look forward to seeing you there!
