The First Mustang Club of Germany celebrates the 60th birthday of an automotive legend at the 42nd International Club Meeting in Klassikstadt. The Mustang, upon its debut, struck a chord with an entire generation in search of a sporty car and the associated lifestyle. This has remained almost unchanged until today. It still stands as a symbol of freedom on wheels. We expect many Mustangs from the 1st generation (1964.5 – 1973), including rare Shelbys and special edition models.
The meeting starts on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 10:00 AM and continues until late in the evening. On Saturday evening, starting at 6:30 PM, the band "Streetlife Family" will play the best of Rock and Pop. On Sunday, May 19, 2024, the event begins at 10:00 AM and concludes around 3:00 PM.
The program for both days includes:
- History show of the years 1964.5 to 1973
- Judging, evaluating the best in original condition, with the award ceremony on Sunday noon
- Special Mustangs and their owners
- Presentation of the only pre-production model in Germany
- Presentation of the latest top model, Dark Horse, by Autohaus Kreissl
- Charity rides for disadvantaged children in the region – For 5 euros, you can take a ride as a passenger in provided Mustangs around Klassikstadt.
- Charity handover on Sunday noon
- There is also a dealer mile with Nascar jackets, Velocity, Autoservice Rühl, FMCoG Clubshop
- Food and drinks: "Mein Foodwerk" Burger and more, "Barista loves Waffles"
- Ice cream is available in the rolling ice cream van in an old 500 Fiat
Admission is free for both days and also for our evening event.
Only club members and invited guests are allowed to drive into the inner courtyard of Klassikstadt.
