A warm welcome to the Klassikstadt 2026 season opener!
On Sunday, 19 April 2026, at 10:00 am, we’ll be kicking off the new season together and warmly invite all classic car and motorsport fans to join us in celebrating spring and our passion for classic cars.
Here is a brief overview of what you can expect:
Guided tours
Guided tours of the venue will take place at 11.00 am and 2.00 pm – meeting point: Entrance 1.
Michael Schnarr
He will be presenting his E-Fuel Porsche project, the ‘Heimat’ Porsche. Michael Schnarr, who hails from Regensburg, developed this 1978 Porsche 911 SC in collaboration with World Rally Champions Walter Röhrl and Christian Geistdörfer. The home towns of those involved are displayed on both sides of the vehicle. Engine professor Wolfgang Reile is responsible for the construction of the e-fuel-optimised injection engine with a 3.2-litre displacement, 270 hp and dual ignition. The concept impressively demonstrates how classic vehicles can be powered sustainably using alternative fuels.
