On September 21, 2025, it's that time again – “Big in Japan” is back and promises to be a spectacular event for all lovers of classic cars, motorcycles and Japanese automotive culture. Classic car enthusiasts and car lovers of Japanese automotive culture will meet in the listed courtyard of the Klassikstadt.
Under the motto “Big in Japan - Mangas & Cars”, vehicles and their fans from one of the most fascinating and influential automotive cultures in the world will be presented. From legendary vehicles from the 1960s to the 2000s, to iconic models from Honda, Toyota and Nissan, to specialized Japanese tuning traditions – this event brings to life the history that has shaped not only Japan, but also the world of motorsport, tuning and the automotive industry.
Highlights of the event:
- Exclusive vehicle exhibitions: An impressive collection of rare and restored vintage cars from Japan, which can be admired in various categories such as sedans, sports cars and motorcycles.
- Tuning culture: Japanese tuning artists present their work and show how classic vehicles can be transformed into true works of art.
- Manga & Cars: The most spectacular combination of cars and drivers in manga style will be awarded.
We can provide a limited number of parking spaces for vehicles built up to 1971. Commercial exhibitors are possible by arrangement.
